Expert Reviewers should consider themselves as mentors to the author(s) as comments should be specific, constructive, and suggestions should be intended to enhance the manuscript or continuing pharmacy education article. Comments should be as complete and as detailed as possible and contain clear opinions about strengths, weaknesses, quality of research, relevance, and significance to the field. To ensure that the manuscripts/continuing educational articles published meet the highest standards, each manuscript/continuing educational article under consideration is sent to at least two expert reviewers. Expert reviewers will make one of three recommendations: accept the article, return it to the author(s) for revision, or reject.

Expertise can be defined by meeting any 1 of the following:

• Board Certification in that area
• Completion of a PGY2 Residency Program in that area
• 3-5 years practice experience where you spent at least 30% of your time, preferrably with significant direct patient care activities
• Other equivalent training/degree   

General Reviewers should consider themselves as mentors to the author(s) as comments should be specific and constructive, and suggestions should be intended to enhance the manuscript or continuing pharmacy education article. General Reviewers will be sought on a range of topics and will review the article for readability, grammar suggestions, as well as assess any CE article for the time it takes to complete the activity to assist in the accreditation process.
